PacificWest, Western Canada’s premier real estate conference, concluded just over two weeks ago, leaving nearly 1,200 real estate professionals buzzing with excitement and filled with insights.

Held under the Vancouver Convention Centre’s iconic white sails, PacificWest was an unforgettable gathering of industry experts, thought leaders, and visionaries, exploring “what’s next” in the world of real estate.

Packed opening day

The first full day of PacificWest kicked off with an inspiring keynote from Ben Nemtin, who turned a dream of 100 things to do before you die into a journey that inspired and helped others.

Following the keynote, real estate professionals gained valuable insights through workshops, seminars, and panels covering the real estate market and beyond.

Legendary Welcome Reception

One of the highlights of the PacificWest 2023 was the legendary Welcome Reception. Attendees were treated to a spectacular evening under the stars, complete with aerialist dancers, captivating performances, and a delightful culinary experience.

 It was an evening where business met pleasure, and networking became an art form.

Ending on a high note

Attendees spent Thursday morning immersed in seminars covering technology, tools, and the future of organized real estate. The CEOs of the Real Estate Board of Greater Vancouver and the Fraser Valley Real Estate Board also addressed a near-capacity room with a fireside chat on what they see as the future of the profession.

And, to bring the conference to an end, Shawn Kanungo gave his interesting, thoughtful, and often absurd closing keynote, leaving attendees with a glimpse of the future of generative AI.
