The CCIM Institute’s Cultural Diversity Education Program (CDEP) was created to help professionals in underrepresented groups grow within the commercial real estate industry. 

As a CDEP member, you’ll receive discounted pricing on:

• Your CCIM candidate membership application fee
• CCIM’s Foundations for Success in Commercial Real Estate course
• CCIM’s Certified Commercial Investment Member designation curriculum (CI 101, 102, 103, and 104)

Nearly 1,500 students have joined the CDEP since it began. 

To be eligible for the CDEP, you must:

• Be a permanent Canadian resident
• Be currently active in the real estate profession or related industry
• Have demonstrated an extraordinary commitment to advancing professional growth of underrepresented groups in the commercial real estate industry

On the application package, you’ll need to provide some basic information along with:

• A current resume or LinkedIn profile link
• Answers to six essay questions about why you want to participate in the program
• Three signed letters of recommendation explaining why you’re the right fit for the program
