While the rate of new listings coming onto the market continues to decline, the number of listings that are taken down, or “terminated”, from the MLS® remains relatively consistent with last year.

These terminated listings could have been listed at any time, and are recorded as terminated in the month where the Board removes it from the MLS®. Listings get terminated for multiple reasons. For example, the seller may no longer want to sell their house or if they want to re-list the home at a new price. If the seller does re-list the home at a new price, we record it as both a terminated listing and a new listing.
