Veteran REALTOR® Mary Stojanovic passed away in November 2023.

Mary worked in the real estate profession for three decades. She was first licensed in 1982 with Continental Realty Ltd. She worked at various brokerages including Champlain Realty Ltd. and Royal Lepage Real Estate Services Ltd. In 1990, she joined Park Georgia Realty Ltd. where she would stay until her retirement in 2010.

Over her long career, Mary had a large impact on her profession. She earned her place in the Quarter Century Club, was elected to the Board of Directors at the Condominium Home Owners Association, and was the coordinator of the East Vancouver Realtor tours.

Over her many years organizing them, Mary's East Vancouver new listing tours were always spot on, and she frequently arranged for a fondly remembered lunch after.

Her colleagues remember Mary for her sense of humour, positive approach to problem solving, and dedication to the task at hand. She was also known to support her fellow Realtors.

Park Georgia Realty Realtor Norm Flockhart warmly recalls Mary’s generosity with her time. Mary would handle vacation coverage for him without hesitation, handling Norm’s files with skill and knowledge while he was away.

To her clients, Mary was always professional and kind, providing service with a smile.

Mary’s family will be holding a funeral for her on Tuesday November 28 at 12 p.m. at Victory Memorial Park and Funeral Centre, 14831 28 Ave, in Surrey. If you’re unable to attend, you can watch a livestream of the funeral.
