Former REALTOR® Mike Andruff passed away in December after a brave battle with cancer. He was 71.

Mike graduated from New Westminster Secondary, and then the University of British Columbia with a degree in Finance and Urban Land Economics. He spent approximately 20 years working in the forestry sector before becoming a Realtor.

He was first licensed in 1992 with Block Bros. He then moved on to RE/MAX Crest Realty Westside in 1995, where he worked until his retirement in 2017.

Mike always thought of himself as lucky in life. In addition to his successful real estate career, he was a Toastmaster and volunteered as a director of the Arbutus Club and CBSC. He was also devoted to charitable efforts, particularly his efforts to help refugees coming to Canada through the Homeglen Legacy Fund.

Mike is survived by his wife of 52 years, Claire; his children Thea (Leandro), Matt (Liz), and Gregory (Melissa); grandchildren Chloe, Madison, Berkeley, Francheska, Anastasia, and Caleb; sisters Kay and Laurie; and countless friends, colleagues, and acquaintances.

In lieu of flowers, you can donate to the Homeglen Legacy Fund in Mike’s memory.
