Trevor Koot appointed as new BCREA CEO
Trevor Koot will take over as CEO of the BC Real Estate Association (BCREA) on April 19. Trevor replaces outgoing CEO Darlene Hyde who will retire on April 30.
Koot was previously CEO with the Kootenay Association of REALTORS®, and with the Kamloops and District Real Estate Board. He was instrumental in their amalgamation with the Association of Interior REALTORS®, which is now the third-largest real estate board in BC.
He also has experience in real estate regulation and governance from his time with the Saskatchewan Real Estate Commission and the Association of Real Estate License Law Officials.
