Their customer support uses these questions to validate your identity if you forget your PIN or password, providing a faster, more efficient experience without the need for a reset email.

This is part of their ongoing efforts to make the lockbox system more secure, including security updates added to the app in September 2022

What you need to know

  • You’ll see a pop-up menu to set up your security questions when you log in to the app after April 19.
  • You’ll be required to select two security questions from a list of 10 predetermined questions.
  • You’ll also be prompted to verify your mobile phone if it’s not already registered.
  • There’ll be a two-week grace period before you’ll be required to add your security questions. If you haven’t done so by the end of the grace period, you won’t be able to use your SentriKey app.
